Christy Gessler is 2026 Immediate Past Chair of Texas REALTORS®. In this role, she serves as a top officer for the organization, which represents more than 140,000 members. Christy Gessler is 2026 Immediate Past Chair of Texas REALTORS®. In this role, she serves as a top officer for the organization, which represents more than 140,000 members. An active REALTOR® and volunteer for 20 years, Christy is also a real estate instructor and holds several designations. She has served on many committees at the local, state, and national levels, including budget, bylaws, strategic planning and public policy. She is a current member of the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program and the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. Christy’s experience includes serving as a Trustee for TREPAC and RPAC. She is also a former sheriff’s deputy and park ranger for Travis County. Christy is a proud 1993 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. When she is not serving clients or members of the REALTOR® association, she can be found spending time exploring the world in her RV with her husband, Brian, and their dog Sam.
