A life-long resident of Flagstaff, Gary Nelson is the Designated Broker at Realty Executives of Northern Arizona and has been a Realtor© since 1994. A life-long resident of Flagstaff, Gary Nelson is the Designated Broker at Realty Executives of Northern Arizona and has been a Realtor© since 1994. He is a Certified Residential Specialist and also has the GRI, e-Pro and SRS designations. He is a passionate volunteer for the Arizona Association of Realtors and was President of the Arizona Realtors in 2022. Most recently, Gary was awarded Realtor of the Year by the Arizona Association of Realtors. Gary and his wife Tammy have a daughter, Shanna, who also lives in Flagstaff and another daughter, Katrina who is a student and professional in Seattle, WA. Gary and his family enjoy travel, skiing, hiking and exploring Northern Arizona. He is an avid open-wheel race fan, especially IndyCar and usually drags his family to a car race a few times a year. Gary and Tammy are slowly hiking the Arizona Trail, a National Scenic Trail and have over 450 miles completed! He is a Certified Chili Judge with the International Chili Society (believe it or not!) and has served as Chief Judge of the Route 66 Chili Cookoff, The Arizona Chili Championship and others. Gary donates his time and efforts to The Arizona Trail, Flagstaff Community Toys For Tots, the AZ State Chili Cookoff benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters and various other local charities.
