With more than 30 years of real estate experience, Kesner has proven to be a committed leader and member of the Association of REALTORS@, serving in numerous positions at the local, state, and national levels. Scott was named REALTOR@ of the Year by the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS@ in 2003 and 2016. Kesner served as chairman of the Texas Association of REALTORS@ in 2015, and over the course of the last decade, has served on, or chaired more than a dozen other committees and task forces of the organization. At the national level, he has served as a director on the National Association of REALTORS@ Board of Directors for seven of the last nine years.

In 2016 Scott was appointed to the TWIA (Texas Wind Insurance Association) Board of Directors by the Chairman of The Texas Department of Insurance as one of three at-large directors located out of the TWIA 14-county coverage area.

In 2018 Scott served as a National Association of REALTORS@ Regional Vice President representing Texas and Louisiana and was also appointed to the TREC Education Standards Advisory Committee. Kesner is a TREC approved instructor since 2001 and teaches various continuing education courses.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science from Sul Ross State University in 1985 in Criminal Justice and Communications. Scott has been married to Paula for 39 years and they have three children, one granddaughter and one grandson.
